FAS-GRIP is a one-of-a-kind polymer texturing agent specifically designed for most coatings. It comes in both coarse and fine grades, making it versatile for various applications. When mixed with coatings, FAS-GRIP blends easily without significantly impacting the viscosity of the coating. Unlike traditional sand additives, FAS-GRIP's low density enables it to remain suspended in the coating, ensuring a more uniform application with minimal mixing required. Thanks to its spherical shape, FAS-GRIP is gentle on surfaces and easy to clean due to its lack of sharp edges.

There are two methods for applying FAS-GRIP non-skid particles. Method #1 involves adding 10oz of FAS-GRIP particles to 1 gallon of coating and applying it using a syphon gun or pressure pot with an agitator. Once the desired texture is achieved, a sealer coat can be applied for added protection. Method #2 entails applying a tack coat to the non-skid area, broadcasting the FAS-GRIP particles using a perforated shaker apparatus onto the wet surface, allowing it to tack up, removing excess particles, and finishing with a final coat.

These fine grade non-skid particles are ideal for use with 2-part epoxy, urethane, gelcoats, and enamels. The unique polymer in FAS-GRIP absorbs the paint, preserving the color as it wears over time.
