MasonryDefender Fine Grit, Clear Non Slip Additive is a polymeric aggregate in micronized form specially designed to enhance the slip resistance of clear sealers, latex, epoxy, or oil-based paints and stains. When added to coatings, this anti-slip paint additive provides a secure footing on various surfaces such as stairs, steps, garages, walkways, basements, patios, pool decks, and more.

To apply, simply stir continuously and incorporate up to 4 ounces of Clear Non-Slip Additive into 1 gallon of coating. It is crucial to adhere to the application instructions provided with the sealer. For thinner products, it may be necessary to occasionally stir during application to maintain a consistent grit distribution. If applying multiple coats, mix the Clear Non-Slip Additive with the topcoat only and avoid reapplying over wet areas. While initially designed for use with MasonryDefender Garage Floor Sealer and MasonryDefender Stamped Concrete Sealer, this product can also be combined with any other latex, epoxy, or oil-based paint, stain, or sealer.

It is important to note that Clear Non-Slip Additive is not suitable for use with penetrating water repellents, silicones, or wax-based coatings. This non-skid paint additive effectively creates a textured and colorless surface that is resistant to chemicals and detergents.
