Preparation Steps

1. Prepare the Surface: Use a wire brush to remove all loose, flaky rust. Avoid brushing down to bare metal; XionLab Rust Converter bonds best with rusty surfaces. Clean the area with a cloth, brush, or compressed air, ensuring all grease and oil are entirely removed.

2. Stir Well: Mix the product thoroughly until a smooth, even consistency is achieved.

3. Application: Apply using a brush, roller, or sprayer to ensure uniform coverage. For spray application, dilute with up to 15% water for a dry film thickness of 0.5-1 mil.

4. Drying & Curing Time: Allow the 2-in-1 converter and primer to dry completely for 48 hours before applying any top coats. If applying only one coat, a second coat can be applied within 2 to 4 hours before the first completely dries.
